Safe Road Movement Program

Bangladesh is the nation with the highest rate of traffic accidents worldwide. It is growing significantly every day. Therefore, traffic accidents are becoming a frequent calamity and terrible situation in our day-to-day existence. Our own family members, neighbors, friends, or relatives are the victims. Governmental and non-governmental sources claim that these traffic accidents cause approximately 12,000 fatalities and 15,000 serious injuries annually. Many of these individuals end up with permanent disabilities. The annual economic loss has been calculated to be twelve and a half thousand crore. The Sheba Bangladesh Foundation has been running a program called "Safe Road Movement" in this regard. Seminars, roundtables, training workshops, rallies, human chains, demonstrations, pamphlets, and posters are all used to carry out this campaign. To prevent these accidents, the organization is always working to raise awareness among transportation owners, employees, passengers, and other concerned parties.
