Relief and Rehabilitation Program

The following relief and rehabilitation initiatives are being carried out by Sheba Bangladesh Foundation:

a) Providing relief supplies, clean drinking water, and post-disaster planning to individuals affected by natural disasters and other disasters at times of extreme need.

In order to achieve community ownership and sustainability of NGO-supported operations, rehabilitation and reconstruction are combined with capacity building.

b) Providing emergency logistics, transportation, and supply services to affected populations during natural catastrophes via air and land routes.

c) Raising community awareness of human trafficking, racism, violations of civic and human rights, early marriage, dowries, acid throwing, and other social crimes; creating civic education for victim communities; and offering post-victim/trauma recovery support to the aforementioned communities.
