Women Development Program

This initiative has been run by the Sheba Bangladesh Foundation since 2008. Human development, group formation, training, legal assistance, and human rights are the program's goals. Men in society abuse and torture women on a daily basis. Numerous sorts of torture have been inflicted upon women, including forced early marriage, dowries, divorce, multiple marriages, acid burns, rape, and denial of basic rights and freedom of speech.

In light of these conditions, the Sheba Bangladesh Foundation has already carried out the required events and initiatives to raise public awareness in order to defend and free women from all sorts of exploitation. By teaching the aforementioned groups in sewing, handicrafts, farmhouse vegetable gardening, goat rearing, and poultry rearing, the organization has also established chances for income-generating enterprises. These initiatives have directly benefited about 1200 women.
